Lead with the core statement, then the one reason or figure that carries it.
Thalassa listens during the board meeting, investor call or negotiation and shows a short, decision-ready answer from your own papers, with its source and page.
Thalassa searches your board papers on your device and shows the sourced answer during the meeting. Upload documents in any language; Thalassa answers in the conversation language. Live translation is optional per session.

Use the file and page from your own papers — or state clearly when the papers are silent.
Answer during the discussion instead of stopping to search through the deck.

No. It is not a meeting bot: it listens to the sound on your own computer, joins nothing and appears in no participant list — on Teams, Zoom, Meet, Webex or a phone call on speaker. There is no platform integration to configure and no IT approval to chase; the other participants see nothing.
No. Audio is never stored — it is streamed for transcription and discarded. The transcript exists only during the meeting and is deleted afterwards; what remains is the debriefing you asked for: decisions, objections, risks, action items. Your board papers are searched on your device and are not uploaded to a server for storage.
Where assistance is permitted, yes — and only there. Whether the other side must be told depends on where you are: many countries let one party’s consent suffice, several US states require every party to consent before a call is transcribed, and companies set their own rules for their committees and for confidential material. Judging that is yours, not the tool’s — that is in the terms (section 2), not just here. Rehearsing with it beforehand is always yours to decide.
From your own papers, with the file and page it came from — the deck, the minutes, the budget, the contract you added to this meeting or to your permanent knowledge base. If the documents do not have it, the answer says so instead of filling the gap. Web research is a switch you set per briefing, off by default, and everything it brings back is marked [Web] with the date.
Whichever you choose in the app: reporting to the board or deciding on it, founder or investor, selling side or buying side. The answers are aimed from there — an investor gets the questions behind the metrics, a founder gets the metric that backs the statement. The same three conversation types, run from either side.
Yes. Transcription runs in 17 languages and answers come in 16, and the two are set independently — the room can be in English while your answers arrive in German, or the other way round. Live translation of the other side into your own language is a separate switch, billed per session minute from prepaid credit.
Premium: 130 meeting-hours a month and a 5,000-page knowledge base cover a full board and committee calendar with the papers that go with it. Professional carries 75 meeting-hours and 1,000 pages for a leadership role with a few decisive meetings a week. The Essential Pack covers three meetings without a subscription. Team seats, single sign-on and shared libraries are not built yet — the waitlist above is the honest answer to that question.
Yes. Install the app and create an account — the first meeting is free, with up to 15 minutes of live answers, plus 5 preparations (briefing, debriefing or scenario workshop), knowledge base capped at about 100 pages. A preparation does not use up the free meeting. It is granted in the app, once per account; no card required.
